Your Gender Scan
We know that finding out the sex of your new arrival is a special milestone for many, and we’re here for it! We can tell you verbally, or write it down and pop it in a tamper-free envelope - whatever works best for you. We offer gender scans in Harrogate from 16 weeks.
What This Scan Assesses
You’ll have time to check-in with one of our experienced sonographers, before they perform your scan to check:
- Baby’s overall development
- Perform wellbeing checks including visualising baby’s heartbeat and checking baby’s abdomen, brain, position and growth
- External anatomy to determine the baby’s sex
- Share the gender with you, either directly in the room or in a tamper-free envelope to take home

Following the scan, we’ll check in to make sure you’re clear on everything, before providing you with:

Gender scans are not 100% guaranteed. All our scans are baby-led and sometimes they don’t like to play ball! If for any reason we feel unable to confirm your baby’s gender at your scan, you’ll be booked in for a complimentary re-scan. More information can be found in our terms and conditions.
